Learning How To Shoot (For the non-shooter!)
There are already many good sites out there about shooting and learning to shoot. I have listed some below. There are also some good books. I have listed those too. The lists are not exhaustive, I am sure that you will find many more. Each Club Coach and National Instructor will have their own approach to arrive at the same end result.... the consistent release of the perfect shot. My intention is somewhat simpler. I intend to get a complete novice shooting safely and competently, ready to be passed on to the Club Coach and then the National Instructor. My shooting course, and notes may be found here. Ted's Shooting Course.

I can't resist adding a few hints though! Firstly learn how to be safe around guns, then you won't shoot yourself or others. Secondly concentrate on the front sight and the sight picture. Pointing the gun in the right direction is a must for accuracy! Thirdly the techniques of stance, gripping the gun, breathing, and trigger release will all improve accuracy as you try to improve. Lastly, practice as often as you can, and enjoy it, it is FUN!

Good luck, and enjoy many years of safe shooting!
